Smart Note License Request for TAMU Engineering Faculty

Overview & Eligibility

eSAIL is pleased to offer a limited number of licenses for Smart Note, a web-based application that promotes digital accessibility.  Smart Note converts inaccessible PDFs of handwritten notes into accessible PDFs, including standard text, mathematical expressions, and automatically generates and adds alt-text and long descriptions for drawings. Licenses to Smart Note are funded by eSAIL and are provided at no cost to faculty in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University.

Process Summary

  1. Complete the form below using your official TAMU email address.
  2. eSAIL will verify your current faculty status.
  3. Verified emails will be submitted to the Encando team for account creation.
  4. Account setup details will be sent to your TAMU email address directly from Encando within 2-3 business days following verification.
