Path leads through library shelves holding many books on each side.

The Pathways to Teaching Online course is for faculty new to online learning and interested in developing a remote or fully online course. Resources are available for you to work on your own or partner with eSAIL to develop a quality online course.

Learn at your own convenience through our 8 engaging modules, exploring the benefits of online teaching, effective course design, and leveraging technology to enhance student engagement.

The course also includes strategies to ensure your digital materials are accessible and compliant with Title II regulations.

Choose from multiple pathways to find the perfect fit for your teaching goals, from using lecture capture to building a complete online course with or without eSAIL’s expert assistance.

Pathways include:

  • Teaching using lecture capture,
  • Leveraging lecture capture to begin building an online course,
  • Building a prerecorded online course yourself, and
  • Partnering with eSAIL in a project to build a prerecorded online course.

The course should take no more than 3 hours and earn you a certificate you can use in your dossier.
