Description: This workshop provides a practical introduction to addressing common digital accessibility issues in instructional materials. It is designed for faculty and staff who create, revise, or manage digital content and need clear, actionable guidance on meeting accessibility requirements.
The workshop will cover multiple categories of tools and techniques used to remediate frequent accessibility concerns, including document remediation, presentation materials, learning management system content, and course organization practices. Attention will also be given to understanding automated accessibility feedback and using it effectively to improve compliance over time.
By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer understanding of how to approach accessibility remediation, greater confidence in interpreting accessibility checker results, and practical strategies for maintaining accessible digital content as materials evolve.
